Born in Akron, Ohio, on November 3, 2002, Nicholas Anthony Young was the son of William “Matt” and Denise Young. He graduated from Wadsworth High School in 2021, where he spent four years in the school’s soccer program. He later attended Baldwin Wallace University, earning bachelor’s degrees in finance and business administration.
Beyond his academic achievements, Nick enjoyed sports, fitness, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He also loved cheering for Cleveland’s sports teams. Professionally, he worked as a Surety Associate at Westfield Insurance, where he brought dedication and a strong work ethic to his role.
Faith remained an important part of Nick’s life, and he was a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Barberton. His family expressed gratitude to his spiritual supporters and the medical team who cared for him throughout his illness.
Nick’s passing has left family, friends, former classmates, and teammates grieving a life cut short. His courage through illness and the relationships he built will remain part of the memories shared by those who knew him.
